Okay, time for some baseball talk now. The Natinals are in a midst of an 8 game winning streak and curretly have the best record in baseball. Also, the magic number for the Houston Astros to avoid infamy is 3 wins.
Bands I'd love to see as DLC for Rock Band:

I'll be a big fan of theirs up until the NLCS. I do NOT want them to make the World Series. Sweet christ, I do not want them to make the World Series.

Houston 3 more wins this season? Uhhh.......maybe

They won 2 in a row. It seems reasonable that the Astros can win 3 more games between now and season's end. Especially since the Cubs and Brewers are in their division this season.

Also, I will root for uniform misspellings if the Natinals somehow make it to the World Series.

I think if I actually watched the White Sox play I might have a heart attack. Almost every time I check in on them they are winning and then it seems they end up losing more often then not D:

That would be the only silver lining.

The Jays' line up for today's game is crazy. None of the position players are major league starters. Edwin Encarnacion is the dh and is now officially the last man standing. I'll still watch EE and the Las Vegas 51s, but I have never in my life seen anything like this. (Even in 93 the day after they clinched they played more starters.) Other teams fans: no complaining about injuries, you don't have it the worst.

Amazing that the A's have a serious shot at making the playoffs with only two players in their lineup batting over .260 (contrast to the Tigers, whose starting lineup last night featured all nine batters hitting over .260) and the O's have a serious shot despite a run differential on the season almost identical to the dreadful Royals.

speaking of the A's, can't believe the season Josh Reddick is having. He showed some power in the Sox system, but his hit tool was inconsistent. Seems to be putting it together in Oakland (and he's got a monster arm in the OF). Happy for his success.

I'm convinced the Orioles are a mirage. This year, anyway. They're building nicely. But I fully expect them to burn out a little and finish within 2 or 3 games of .500

The other major anomalies based purely on run differential:

The Red Sox and Cardinals both are likely considerably better than their record indicates.

The Diamondbacks and Angels are probably slightly better than their records.

The Royals and Padres are probably better than their records, but they're still not good teams.

The Pirates and Dodgers likely aren't quite as good as their record indicates.

The Marlins and Indians appear to be dire squads masquerading as sub-par ones.
