    I always liked the Marlins and was getting back into baseball this year. Fantasy helped that.

    This series with the Padres will more than likely bring them back to .500. If the Braves were the ideal version of the Mariners model (dominant pitching, just enough hitting), then the Padres are the lesser version of the Mariners model. Certainly their ballpark does them no favors, but they're offensively even worse than the Mariners in many categories.
