When Bautista went out in the 1st round, I was no longer interested.

So...I haven't paid much attention to the ASG the past few years...is it still set up that the winner of the game has home field advantage in the WS?

EDIT: Never mind...just heard the answer from the game. "Yes"

The All-Star Game is as pointless as it ever was. I watched Michael Pineda's inning (just happened to flip over at the right time), and after seeing him pitch well, I didn't bother to watch any more.

Meh. Not really. I just don't give a crap about the All-Star Game. I'm not sure why I even flipped over the one time I did.

I'm hoping this trade is done with the intention to clear a contract off the board for next year (there's no way his $17.5 million option wasn't kicking in, barring injury), allowing the team to re-sign Reyes (and perhaps Beltran), and not the beginning of a Mets firesale.

Still, this bullpen looks pretty bad right now.
