Very, very shoddy prosecution. Based on the grounds for the mistrial, I'd say the case doesn't get brought up again.

No sense in trying to convince people that I actually do feel the way I do, when they're telling me "No, you're wrong, feel this way instead." It's banging your head against a wall.
I will consider it a minor miracle if the Mariners aren't no-hit sometime this year. Derek freaking Holland? Christ on a crutch.
Beckett and Crawford coming back soon..sweet.
Sox are one injury away from being ****ed, methinks. They, like their rivals in NY, are one of those teams that need to get healthy and healthy fast

Ron Washington says the Rangers' shutout streak isn't going to last forever. A) No ****, Sherlock. B) I see no reason why it won't last another 18 innings, unless one of the next two games goes into extras scoreless (a distinct possibility since the Mariners' pitching is so good). Then it might go 19, 20, 21, who knows how many more innings before the Rangers run into a Major League offense again.
its been 10 days since the last post in this thread and the mariners still haven't won another game. the mariners are who we thought they were. holy ****!!

Can you believe since the first series after the all-star break (which was against the mariners), the texas rangers have gone 8 and 3 with run totals of 69 to 24? OR If you go back just a little further to include all of July so far they are 16 - 5 with runs totals 146 to 66. What kind of baseball is that?
Lawdog - "That may be the dirtiest thing anyone has ever said on here."
**** Texas, that kind of baseball.
I now legitimately believe that I will not live long enough to see the Mariners get back to the playoffs. It may happen sometime in the 2070's, but I doubt it happens before then. And when it does, they'll get swept out and go another 70 years without making the playoffs.
guess someone doesn't like the rangers very much lol.
pitt and the ATL are in teh 18th as we speak. if the pirates can somehow hold on to a winning record, it will be the story of the year. and a great story at that.
