    I'm with you.

Of songs that have vocals, what song has the longest instrumental intro before vocals begin?

I'd hate to be the vocalist at an RB party when this song comes up. You have to wait longer than the average length of a song before your part even begins.

And if you play vocals solo, which i've been doing lately? Start song, go fix yourself a sandwich, eat that sandwich, make a bathroom run, and come back to see if it's time to sing yet?

    2012: ZERO

More time to fix a drink or make a sandwich.

I'm hoping some of the kids born in 97 have seen that goofy shirt in Left 4 Dead 2 and wondered what a Depeche Mode is. Maybe that will allow some of them to give it a chance.

Or they can check out RBN. Good amounts of Metal there.
Depeche Mode aren't a nostalgia act. They still sell more records than most bands, "Wrong" was one of the best songs (and videos) that came out in 2009, and the album hit #3 on the US charts and was one of the top 200 selling records of year just in America.

I've loved them since the early eighties, and I think the 1997 album Ultra is probably their second best album, after Some Great Reward.

Waiting for Depeche Mode, Patti Smith, Pavement, Public Enemy & more Rolling Stones. I have 2,000+ songs!

Think I've been living under a rock for the last 40 years, cause I don't recognize many bands, at least by name or song title, save classic rock.Didn't get any "OH that song" reaction from these but they seem pretty catchy.RB3/Pro Drums/HMx have finally facilitated my transition to a "Score Ho", so probably ALL for me. ;0)

I haven't been this excited for DLC in a while! We need some more Death Cab songs. Seems a bit random to just throw one our way, and the song isn't even especially recent. We were looooong overdue for some Depeche Mode. I might just be able to drag a friend back to RB for the first time in 2 years to play those songs.

Seems a bit slim, but good choices. Will be going for these. :-)

Possibly just fulfilling a highly requested song?

Hell, I'm pretty sure I requested that song a few months ago.

I agree, the intro sets the mood, and then proceeds to kill it with repetition. I prefer the radio edit.

Personal Jesus is a must buy. I listened to the other tracks and Policy of Truth is one of those where it's like "Hey I know that one!" so I'll pick that up too. Good week.
