DLC of 3/15 Official Discussion Thread: WAR, OK Go, The Police

I'll be getting the Police songs. Will have to sneak in Every Breath as my wife's old high school ex dedicated that to her when he went nuts.

Not getting any of this. Overall, very weak DLC, in my opinion. Hopefully, that is just partially what's coming out?

As much as I play for the song if I like it instead of the charts... I'm seeing a trend here that's got mixed blessings. The music is pretty strong in choice, but for those looking for a good challenge, the mainstream hasn't offered it in a long while. Providing challenge for a 'gamer' vs. 'learning guitarist' are two different bags (maybe an experienced guitar player might also think these aren't all that exciting, who knows, I don't play guitar). But in general, its been super mellow for the most part. I hope we see more for the rest of the band to enjoy instead of just for the vocals and keys player.

Yeah, that's what I've thought too. It's hard to give everyone something nice to play, but I honestly thought that HMX made a pretty good job with the RB3 setlist, and DLC lately has been a bit mediocre for good band experiences..

The only thing that sucks about this DLC if it's true is that there will be another consecutive week with only 4 tracks which is very uncommon for RB.
Hopefully more than one upgrade too (maybe more legacy stuff?).

Well, even if I never play them, I will be picking up both Police songs. Been listening to them since the late 70's and I have always considered them a great band.

The Police is an instant purchase from this lot. I like the OK Go tracks that are already in RB, but did not know this one. Just listened to it and I will not be buying it. It just does nothing for me.

Another 4 song week.. They running out of material? Would definitely buy The Police & War songs, but it'd been VERY slow going of late for RB DLC it seems.

The Police must be the best represented band in the game excluding The Beatles and Green Day. It looks like 4 is the new magic number of songs per week.
