I skimmed through this thread and didn't see any special mention of Everybody Wants To Rule The World. Maybe because it's technically not an alternative tuning, but this seems the best thread to check in. I think it's standard with capo on the first fret... anyone agree?

This topic is great! I just wanted to stop in and say that '...And Justice For All' is in standard, not Eb. All you have to do is play along to see.

Also, can anyone figure out the tuning for 'Antibodies'? It's almost like it's a half step up (aka capoed on the 1st fret). Does that sound right to anyone?

I'm not sure if the track used for the game is different from the album, but And Justice for All by Metallica is definitely not down 1/2 step. It's standard, and only a slight 1/4 note off (if even that). I play it along with the album quite often, so I can say this with certainty.

Doh, looks like someone beat me to this. Oh well!

Interesting. It sounded a wrong in standard tuning, but I'll give it another try.

Isn't that the same as Standard tuning with a Capo on the 2nd fret? I just think it would be easier to use a capo instead of tuning up a whole step.

If the first string is f#, that would be true. You know, however, if you play along with the game with a capo on the neck adding N to the fret numbers on the chart, you will not hit a single note: score 0, 0%. Playing the Squier aloud with the mute off, you'll get a ton of overstrums so your score will suck, but the percentage will be largely correct.

Of course, if you're not trying to gauge your accuracy, maybe you don't care.

Right, the game won't allow you to use a capo. You have to tune your guitar up to match the recording.

Of course, this also means that the game will mute all of the notes of the instrument that you're playing, but if you're playing aloud, that might actually be desirable .
