    It's an Open E tuning.
    E-B-E-G#-B-E
(In reality it's Open D, capoed at 2, but to play it in RB3 without the capo, you can just tune it to Open E)
Alll of the tunings are listed in the "learn a song" section, (She Talks to Angels is listed there as open E, it's the same tuning as Love Shack).

Hmmm ... I've never seen those listed. It would be nice.

I checked again (entering though "Learn a Song" from the main menu), and don't see it. Would you help me out and specifically tell me on what screen/where it's listed?
    Thanks!

    Ah-ha! I found it!
It's listed on the guitar neck in the "Train Song" section when "Chord/Note Help" is enabled.
    Thanks!!

    But ...

It doesn't seem to match up to a lot of tunings, especially detuned (eg: all of Jimi Hendrix, Alice in Chains, Def Leppard, Paramore, etc.) & capoed (eg: The Smiths, Tears for Fears, etc.) songs.

I know these can't be fretboard transposed because playing them in Standard tuning as charted sounds awful (eg: Little Wing).

What it does is tells you all the RELATIVE tuning (IE: Is it standard tuning or drop tuning?), but not the actual key it's tuned to. This is because the game only really cares about fingering, not pitch detection. So as long as you know that you should be playing power chords in, say, drop-tuned position instead of standard tuned position, then you should be fine.

For example: Before I Forget will just say "Drop D" because it's in a drop-tuning, and all the fingerings will be in drop-tuned position. However, the actual song is in Drop B. Different key, but the relative tuning is all the same.

It's a stupid system, imo. I understand why they did it that way, but honestly, if you're going to give the tuning at all, at least make it fully accurate.

Unless there IS a way to actually see the accurate tuning, and I've just missed it for the past 2 years. In which case, ignore everything I just said and PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO SEE IT. haha.

    Cool! Your explanation helped!
It fit it into the rusty cogs of music theory that are knocking around my head. XD

Are you seeing the words "Drop D", "Open E", etc on the screen?
Because all I see is the strings labeled with their open notes on the guitar's headstock (D A D G B E )
I'm googling from there to find the name of the tunings and using the master list to see it's key.
