I will cry so many tears of joy if we can get "Short Fuse Burning" and well, that whole entire freaking album, in RB. Or any/all off Hello Rockview! as well. Or......pretty much anything!

    Released last week:

Seven Day Sonnet - Farewell to Good Days
    Preview Video
More from the guys behind Hapless, this track is perhaps less dark but also heavier, and will offer a decent challenge to vocalists.

    Released this week:

    Cohesive - The Only Difference
    Preview Video
Cohesive have a remarkably mature sound, with a great mixture of melodic pop sensibilities and heavy alt-rock attitude. They have particularly standout choruses so vocalists can get ready to have a blast with their songs.

    Boomchick - TGTW
    Preview Video
Speaking of attitude, Boomchick have that in spades! Describing themselves as "punkabilly" and definitely flirting heavily with punk influences, they deliver a raucous, high-energy performance that will entertain every member of the band.

Nightrage - Wrapped in Deceitful Dreams (2x Bass Pedal Version)
    Preview Video
Nightrage continue their latest assault on RBN with this slightly less intense track (by their own high standards). Guitarists will be in for an easier ride than with some of the tracks from "Insidious" but don't underestimate the soloing. Drummers will get their usual death metal workout, especially if they opt for the double bass version, and vocalists are treated to a guest appearance by Tom Englund of Evergrey.

    Fallen Angel - Watching
    Preview Video
Fallen Angel's concept album "Crawling Into Hell" is finally complete and playable on Rock Band in its entirety! "Watching" joins its brothers in the fray, delivering the varied guitar riffs, energetic drumming and classic heavy metal vocals that Fallen Angel have become known for. For us at RockGamer, it has been a long and epic journey that is finally at an end. For the players, the road is now laid before you, should you choose to walk it...

    Released this week:

Less Than Jake - Goodbye, Mr. Personality
    Preview Video
Less Than Jake's second RBN offering shows a slightly different side of the band than "Younger Lungs", far more rooted in ska than in punk and with a more melodic vocal style. Guitarists will have a workout keeping up with the ska-style strumming and keyboardists will have a blast playing along with the catchy riffs of the brass section.

Honest Bob and the Factory-to-Dealer Incentives - I Don't Want to Hear About Your Crappy Boyfriend
    Preview Video
Perhaps best known for its outlandishly long artist-and-title combination, This third Honest Bob track's quirky, offbeat indie rock sound translates to some really interesting gameplay in Rock Band. Odd time signatures and a high tempo provides an energetic experience for all players, and there's quite a challenge for vocalists to match the unusual timings and melodies.

    Dirge Within - Absolution
    Preview Video
At the other end of the musical scale, Dirge Within deliver a have a brutal thrash metal assault. Heavy riffs, blistering lead guitar, relentless double bass drums and ferocious vocals mean nobody will have an easy ride on this song. Given the aggressiveness of the music, there is actually some surprisingly intricate instrumentation here which gives it a lot of replay value.

Volumes of Revolution - Blood of the Resistance
    Preview Video
Volumes of Revolution have an interesting musical style, referred to as "polycore". Mixing light operatic female vocals and guttural male screaming over a bedrock of instrumentation that seems almost based on punk music, but much heavier. Fans of "beauty and the beast" style vocals should definitely check this song out.

I'd still love to know what happened to Radiant Light by Free Spirit. Are we going to get that ever or was there some kind of holdup?
