RTS - I used to play a game called Impossible Creatures where you had to combine animals to fight off enemies. My favorite was a chameleon and a polar bear that made a massive bear body with a long tongue and claws that could turn invisible. So many awesome things could be done with that game like flying whales Komodo dragon ants and so on.

FPS - Resistance. Insomniac is one of my all time favorite developers and their combining crazy guns like Ratchet and Clank with a deeply moving story about humanity fighting for survival made for chaotic yet wonderful gameplay.

Racing - Motorstorm Pacific Rift. It was close between this and Burnout Paradise but I love off road racing so much as opposed to street racing. Motorstorm had amazing environments set in Hawaii where you raced along active volcanoes or race down waterfalls, could punch people off their bikes or atvs, and mud and water effects that really changed gameplay as you blazed through them.

Action Adventure - I'm gonna say GTA 4 for this as it's one of my all time favorite games especially the DLC which made the city even more impressive with each release. Very close second is Red Dead Redemption which showed me a cowboy game could kick total ass.

3PS - MGS3. I had way too much fun in this game running around the jungle, poisoning enemies, setting traps, and causing chaos. MGS4 was amazing too, but just for all the great memories I had with MGS3 including the crazy bosses and secret stuff, MGS3 wins.

Platformer - Uncharted 3. So many amazing set pieces as you're falling out of airplanes, escaping sinking ships, among other things made this my go to platformer. Ratchet and Clank 2 being a close second.

Survival Horror - Dead Rising, great game, but it depresses the living hell out of you and I haven't been in the mood to play the second despite buying it a year or so ago.

Music Game - Rocksmith, words cannot describe the feeling I got when I first felt myself playing the guitar right and being able to lay it outside the game as well. Rock Band will always have a special place in my heart, but difficulty that adjusts to your playing makes Rocksmith king.

    *Adding*

Puzzle Game - Portal 2. Hilarious thought provoking and exceedingly well executed, Portal being awesome is no lie.

Multiplayer Game - Little Big Planet 2, this is hands down the game you can do anything and its not fair bogging it down to platformer when you can do anything. The community levels that people are always releasing are top notch with LBP2 levels being miles above LBP1 main levels and playing with friends is the best part. I've also been watching m wife play with my brother alot this week can't wait to play with her when I get better.

Impossible Creatures sounds interesting. I never got into Grand Theft Auto, because my parents wouldn't buy me it, and once they were OK with it, GTA 4 had been out for a while, so I just thought I might as well wait until GTA 5. I still need to try out Portal, I played a demo of the first and I liked it, I just sort of forgot about it for a while. One of my favourite parts of Dead Rising was being able to use almost anything as a weapon. You should try out Dead Space if you're looking for a Survival Horror game that is actually somewhat scary, instead of mostly focusing on the survival part. I wish I'd bought a PS3 this generation, games like Resistance, LBP2, Uncharted, and Killzone make me really want one. Next gen I'm buying all the consoles from the main 3 of this gen most likely. The only reason I wouldn't or probably more likely hold off, is if there were hardware problems on one of the systems.

    Hey Sarah!

Also I just bought Fallout 3 the other night. I'm hoping it's good. Witt says it is so I believe it.

Fallout 3 takes a little time to work its way up. Like most RPG's you'll be mad how crappy your weapons are, but once the good stuff starts coming and the game goes from bleak to balls out crazy. Great stuff to watch out for, "the Antagonizer vs the Mechanist," "the tree people," and "Tempenny tower" great stuff!

Fallout 3 was also the first game I ever got every single achievement on. Including DLC. My recommended DLC order you should buy Broken Steel, Point Lookout, The Pitt, Mothership Zeta, and operation Anchorage.

    I have a little question.

I'm wondering about downloading Fallout 3 from the Xbox Live Marketplace. I see it's priced in real cash, but I was wondering could I still use Microsoft points to buy it since it's on XBL? Do I need to use a credit card? I've searched the web and can't find any answers.

You can. I think you have to buy it from the website though.

Thanks, I don't want to sound ungrateful but I need a reason, so you're banned for being helpful. Thanks again.
