I've been thinking about it and if I get Rocksmith I also need a guitar so I can learn how to play My Girl and then use it to pick up chicks.

Wow, the bass upgrade is so great! I feel like a real musician today after quickly climbing up the difficulty levels on the first set of songs last night.. Surely part of that is due to the fact that my bass has a solid wood neck, there were no intonation problems at all. I feel like I really need to get another electric guitar now.

I got the bass for my birthday, in November, and I've been waiting all this time to finally get to play the game with it. Victory! And now I feel ready to take on the training books that have been gathering dust on the shelf.

IMO the joy of playing bass obliterates my apathy for the on disc setlist.

I though Rocksmith was great before, and since I was using any one of my real guitars, I didn't have any issues with having to deal with the RB3 Pro-Stratocaster (I have a Squier Standard Stratocaster, a Squier Standard Telecaster, and an Epiphone Les Paul).

The bass update has been just awesome, and haven't played any other game since the update! Now my only problems are do I pick up one of my above mentioned guitars or my Squire Vintage Modified Jaguar Bass, Ibanez SR 500, or my wife's Ibanez GSRM Mikro bass.

It's great to have these kind of decisions to make!

    I love this freakin' game!!!

Here's song #2 from next Tuesday's DLC release: this has to be one of the longest songs ever to have achieved a triple platinum certification ...

I Heard It Through The Grapevine perhaps, assuming next week is all CCR that is.

I'd be fine with all CCR. They've got plenty of great tunes to choose from!

It's not all CCR... Here is another hint:

"the song was on an album by the same name, the album went multiplatinum, not the single itself."
