The difference will be that I will be able to learn the song much easier and have fun while doing it!

The Pc pre-order is about € 60 on amazon.
I pre-ordered it from cdon.com well before the release date.

Subdivisions pro chart in RB is accurate and the song is a full version, like they almost always are.

I just hope that's the way the other Rush songs will be in RS.

    Special sales for mega packs:
    - The 15-song Classic Guitar Pack ($29.99) will include Queen, CCR, The Allman Brothers, Boston, Heart, Deep Purple and more!
    - The 12-song Classic Hits Pack will include The Police, T. Rex, David Bowie, The Temptations, Otis Redding, Blue Oyster Cult, and more!!
    - And last but not least, the 15-Song Alternative Rock Pack ($29.99) will include The Offspring, Radiohead, blink-182, Finger Eleven, & more!
    - And for our fans in Europe, on 10/17 we'll be releasing a special 15-song Classic Rock Pack ($29.99) ft. Queen, The Police, Boston, & more!

All from the Rocksmith twitter page: https://twitter.com/Rocksmithgame

EDIT: It's confirmed that Europe only gets the Classic Rock pack. Unless it's free (which I largely doubt), passing on everything until we get The Offspring.

Any idea if DLC will be be discounted in future Steam sales? I've had the game on 360 since launch and never bought any DLC because I felt it was overpriced, but those megapacks are actually really tempting now, and I'm debating whether to get the Steam version for bass support and the megapacks now, get the megapacks on 360 now and get bass support if/when I get a bass, or get the Steam version when the game itself is on sale and hope DLC goes on sale too so I won't need the megapacks.

It's been speculated that they may go on sale at some point, but Ubisoft hasn't confirmed anything of the sort.

Seeing as the xbox update has prevented new DLC for RB and Rocksmith from showing up via the marketplace. I thought I'd list the songs in the European Classic Rock pack:
    Free Bird
    Smoke on the Water
    More Than A Feeling
    Barracuda
    (Don't Fear) The Reaper
    Soul Man
(Sitting On) The Dock of the Bay
The Police Pack (Roxanne, Message in a Bottle, Synchronicity II)
Queen Pack (Fat Bottomed Girls, Bohemian Rhapsody, Killer Queen, Stone Cold Crazy, Keep Yourself Alive)
