Could be good. Lots of people noticed on their Facebook post that the picture is of a Dave Mustaine Dean Guitar... Symphony of Destruction anyone?

Would be cool if the guitar pic was actually a hint that RS was getting some Megadeth.

Not sure if I would buy Megadeth, it would take years for me to play it. Like the band but but I'm not sure I would enjoy their material in the game just because it would constantly remind me how much I suck.

If it is Megadeth I hope it isn't Symphony of Destruction. If it had to be from that album I'd prefer either the title track: Countdown to Extinction, High Speed Dirt, Skin o' My Teeth, or Architecture of Aggression. Oh and by the way fixed .

I had a set of the neons. They did look great under blacklight. But the coating still wore off fast at the points of contact and was easily noticed soon when glowing. For gigging and changing strings everyday anyway it could be useful, but if you want any life from a set I would never recommend them.

Thanks for the feedback. I won't buy colored strings then.

Still need to get new strings at some point since the factory strings really suck.

Ah crap. You know, when I was 15 I used to spell all bands' names correctly. Now that I'm old, yet not wise, I'm losing my ability to spell bands who've messed with the language.

Honestly, one of the things I had hoped for with RB3 is that pro would make me better at guitar. Well, it has... but I've hit a wall in improving. I mostly stick to pro bass because pro guitar's chords frustrate me. Even on medium many of the songs have too many for me too fast. Progress is very, very slow and I am very much a person that needs at least a little progress more often than I am getting to stay motivated. From the stories I've been hearing of experiences with Rocksmith others have had... I think Rocksmith can help with that. At least, I really hope so.

I will say though at least pro bass has been productive for things - I am getting quick at strumming and I know where the strings and a good chunk of the frets are without looking. I am at the hard level for pro bass (and expert for lowest tier stuff), which is funny considering I can't even really do medium pro guitar. Heh...

I was in the same boat as you, getting frustrated at the brick wall I hit in RB3 pro. Rocksmith provides a more expansive career mode than RB3, and you have a graph of points tracking your progress. When that bar shoots up, it keeps you motivated.

I'm still awful at chords, but I haven't given up.

I'm having the same issue...no matter what I try it just hates me...I got smoke on the water just haven't tried it yet I only bought the game a week ago...but loving it so much...Hopefully RB will make some upgrade where you can use the cord from Rocksmith so you can use any guitar for Rockband...*hint, hint* Harmonix
