What's your other third party 1/4"->USB cable have to do with it? It won't work with the game, will it?

It's a First Act branded cable, but it didn't work in-game. I tried it the other day just to demonstrate for somebody on the Ubisoft forum that the game won't accept third party adapter cables.

Yeah, I did too when I found them. Thankfully (or unfortunately) Bing searches label everything they find (video, add on, etc.) it's actually very handy.

Why not just get a yamaha instead? Brand new ones with midi outs can be had for cheap

how does one hook up a midi keyboard to play rockband 3 when the keyboard midi output is usb only?

Keyboard->PC->USB to MIDI adapter->MIDI Pro Adapter->Console

That's how I do it when I play pro keys with my Casio.

The RS devs confirmed in the discussions that the tuner used in between songs is much looser and less accurate. I'd double check your tuning in between songs with your own external one. They said the tuner in RS you access from the menu (down deep a few levels) is the accurate one that would be more in line with your external one.

Try both and compare the results.

I know the song 2 song one is very weak.

I wouldn't say the in game tuner sucks, but it's certainly not the greatest. If you have your own tuner, I would definitely recommend using that before you start playing.

Yesterday was a great day. I saw this, Kenny Powers coming back in Feb, and I started working out again. If only PS3 DLC came at like 5am like 360 I'd schedule a dayoff right now.

Does anyone here think they can master hangar 18? I don't think I will be able to, but I'd love to see a vid of the whole chart if someone else can...

I'm cool with this but do we gotta start another thread? If so please link us. My vote is easily RB3 if comparing legacy charts as well for this week. I like 20th Century Boy on pro guitar in RB3, it's a really fun song. But I think because I like RS' implementation better it'll be hard for me to vote for RB3 in pro vs pro. I like Dream Theater and would've bought Under the Bridge a month ago before RS' release.
