Even when they get bass support out, I'll need a compelling reason to even consider getting a bass guitar, such as retro-actively adding bass charts to the on-disc songs and DLC. If bass is only offered for DLC at that point forward, it will be hard for me to warm up to it.

I know what you mean but I have recently got one and am loving playing along to the RB pro bass charts using the MPA so even if RS only does DLC I still have lots to play on the Bass.

Yeah Nao alraedy confirmed not to run out and buy a bass just yet. It's 99.9% that this patch will not support bass. Very curious how pricey this upgrade will be including my new bass.

Will have to see how players think the bass play feels vs guitar, response time and all that good stuff. But I do need an excuse to pick up my bass more and if this works well I'd be worth investing for the game/cable.
