It's all right. Everything will work out fine.

Ha
Well, I'm at 112 of 128 on disc arrangements masterred now (with a bunch fully levelled just waiting for the 100k). Things are starting to get tough, so I'm not sure I can get them all. Ricochet Single Note, and Star Spangled Banner seem to be the hardest to nail.
I'm looking forward to the patch as they mentioned enhancements to practice mode, and I hope that goes beyond just removing the 5 lives. I want to be able to set speed and level in riff repeater![]()
This is interesting (particularly for iPad owners, which do not include me):http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=TlERuhLk2-sFree download (says this week only), but I suspect that it's kind of like a razor, where they expect to make the money selling the blades. Check it.

I've been using the RB Squier with Rocksmith. It works OK, but I'm getting some bad fret wear on mine. Here's a close up of the fourth fret on the low E string (http://i1146.photobucket.com/albums/...ret002_web.jpg). I was using the guitar since May on RB, and then using it exclusively on Rocksmith since that came out. I play about one hour a day. It should not be wearing this badly. The RB Squier has soft frets. So if you really like Rocksmith, you'll have to upgrade to a real guitar within six months or so anyway.

I'm gonna give this a try. It looks tempting but I wonder how much lag there'll be.
Seems like there's already additional DLC content in App Store. The songs are $1.99 and the lessons $0.99
I found also a related Dave Mustaine: Guitar Prodigy app which is made by the same developers. It has only three songs: Holy Wars, Tornado of Souls and Public Enemy No. 1.

It should be noted that the app requires a $30 piece of equipment with which to connect your electric guitar (you can use it with an acoustic through the tablet's microphone). There are several such adapters available (iRig, Peavy AmpKit Link) and a few existing apps which use them, like the GarageBand app. If you're really serious, you can pop for the $100 Apogee Jam.
