Pretty cool song. I like a few of the 3DD songs but dont have any of their CDs. Might pick it up to support the RS cause.

Ubisoft Japan has today confirmed that Rocksmith will be heading over to Japan. This is the first time that the game has been confirmed for release outside of North America. As a game that allows players to plug in a guitar that they already own, players have been clamouring for the game to make the jump across the water to a region near them.

Unfortunately there is still no news on the hopes of the game receiving a European release. Until the lawsuit regarding the use of the name "Rocksmith" is resolved, there is little chance of the game being released in this region.

The release date for Japan is "still pending", but we'll let you know more when it is announced.

This is just idiocy. If it's this hard negotiating with the obscure European band of the same name, why not just give up the name and call it something else in Europe?

Nintendo change their names all the time, often for no apparent reason.

If Rocksmith's a hit in Japan, maybe they'll make some J-Rock DLC? I can always dream, can't I?

Like when the Wii was originally going to be called the Revolution.

Actually a better example is Sega. "Mega Drive" was already taken n the States, so they simply worked around it by calling their console the Genesis in the U.S. and the Mega Drive everywhere else.
It's all right. Everything will work out fine.

I see maybe we could call it RockJohnson in Europe.

    It wasn't a rock,

    It was a ROCK JOHNSON!

    I don't know why I thought of the B-52's.
