Rocksmith discussion thread - New real guitar game.

Queen maybe. They fit the legendary classic rock artist category, not a single song from them yet but many songs in GH and RB so they're easy to license. Also, there's plenty of guitar focused tracks such as I Want It All, Keep Yourself Alive, etc.

It would really surprise me to see a band like Journey in Rocksmith. The only part that scares me is Neil Schon's control of the band and as lead guitarist. Journey deserves the whole rockband treatment not a guitar game. My guess is a European Band that will display the new bass feature and get folks excited especially where it debuts.

Sabbath seems likely if Journey is hard to get

Queen seems to be the best fit but I really really REALLY hope if it is they don't choose Bohemian Rhapsody as one of the songs.

Is it clear that they mean repeat on just Rocksmith or all games? To me it doesnt seem clear to anything other than Rocksmith.

I'm pretty sure they only care about their own content, and they already have a Clapton song on disc.

Meh. They have a song or two that's okay (and Don't Stop Believin' is not one of them )

Can't wait for bass. I'm curious if it's going to be DLC (a big DLC, I imagine), or a disc expansion.

I think Queen also. Easy to license as they have a million songs in RB with pro strings and a Singstar game. Tons of hits as Paul hinted. Classic rock obviously. No way it would be LZ.
