The reason I see songs like TTFAF being terrible on RS would be the whole dynamic difficulty thing. Maybe my view would change after having played RS for a bit (I'm so having Welcome to the Black Parade as my first song ) but of course that's not gonna happen for at least 4 months because of the release date keeping on being delayed.
    Wishlist (possible artists):
    [4] The Killers
    [1] The Cure
    [7] AFI
    [3] Sum 41
    [11] Linkin Park
    [51] Green Day
    [9] The Offspring

Totally agree with you. Even though I love listening to both of those songs, I avoid playing them in RS just because their difficulty takes the enjoyment factor out of it for me.

On the plus side one of the Painkiller combo arrangements seems like it could be doable after a few months to a year of practice.

And honestly I got the whole Judas Priest pack because Breaking the Law and Living After Midnight seemed easy enough.

I got the pack because I love listening to the songs. Which is the only factor that matters to me with buying music DLC for any game.

the dynamic difficulty would be interesting. it's done in percentages, so i would think the maximum number of "levels" for a phrase would be 99. for something like TTFAF, 99 levels of difficulty might not be enough.

Well that too, I still haven't bought all the songs I like on Rocksmith.

I have, but I'm in the fortunate situation where I can buy any and all DLC that I want for both RB and RS (since I'm an older guy who has been gainfully employed for years and has the money to spend on DLC...and has a wife who is also a both a gamer and musician and never complains about money being spent on such things).

It looks like yesterday’s teaser was too easy, so here’s a harder hint for the second song of next Tuesday’s DLC: connect Chris Parnell, the London Public Transit system, and Ferris Bueller?
