Rocksmith discussion thread - New real guitar game.

i wouldn't call it a great game yet.... if they fix some of the UI issues (slow menus, crappy song selection screen, constant forced tuning) it could be a very good game. i've yet to have a session of this game where i didn't get frustrated with one of these issues at some point.

if they improve the charts to make them more readable, or better yet, offer a tab option, then it really could be a great game. as it is, it's awesome technology with some good ideas, poorly implemented interface but lots of potential.

here's hoping for Rocksmith 2.

The menus are admittedly terrible. The tuning I don't mind because it's just plucking each string before the song. I'd rather do that then have it misread everything I play.

Here’s hint #2 for the 3/19 DLC: on their 1st tour this band’s frontman filled in on guitar for the headlining band they supported.

Reading this hint drove me into an hour long reference loop on Wikipedia, where I discovered that there was a deluxe issue of "Blue Sunshine" from "The Glove" back in 2006. Featuring most of the tracks with the original Robert Smith vocals (which couldn't be released originally because of an explicit clause in his contract). What are the odds that some of those tracks get released for a music game, someday?
