Can't say I'm a huge fan of math rock, but this song is incredibly awesome.

I didn't realize there was Giraffes? Giraffes! in the pipeline, what a pleasant surprise. Will there be more songs from them?
And damn do I dislike the the voice of Gnostic's singer but I don't think I can resist Steve Flynn's drumming.

Ha, the vocalist. Funny story, the lyrics they gave us were missing a verse. Took us about 2 weeks to come up with the lyrics. It was almost at the point where we were going to put gibberish as the lyrics.

Oh god that was fun times. I know we sent the part around to a bunch of different people, and each person would pick out like, 2 more words. This is verse 2, I think.

Honestly, we were this close to just putting "*pterodactyl noises*" in lieu of actual lyrics.

None of the lyric sheets have that verse. I swear they just made random noises and that's why it isn't available.

It was a slightly different take than the album version, and when I contacted them the band said...uhhh...we don't remember what we did for this take.

So yeah it was an ordeal, and we're still not sure if the lyrics are 100% correct in game.

Most likely, going by the reactions seen so far, though I don't know what it would be yet (possibly Werewolf Grandma; we're leaning towards something from Pink Magick). Whatever it is it won't be as insane, I want to go with something more accessible next time around.

That's the Telltale Heart song, right? I thought the lyrics kinda generally made enough sense.

We guessed as best we could given three or four different people were going through it.

But yeah it seems right :P
