now that creators is back up, how long before songs start showing up again?

In another thread, they were remarking that May was simply "slow time" with finals, graduations, vacations, and all the things that Real Life lurch out. This is pretty typical for most community things like this, even online forums get slow.

So what's going on with the RBN? Is anything close to passing? It's been too quiet over here.

Speaking only from my perspective:

While Creators was down, I've focused mainly on authoring. We have several new songs that I've still not announced (several of which are a hair away from being done), and I think they're going to be very exciting announcements. I'm also thinking about how I want to format preview videos for unreleased songs and implement full-length previews for already-released songs (since we're one of the few authors that don't have those yet).

Now that Creators is back up, I'm also focusing my energy on uploading new versions of songs currently in the system.

All of this is eating up whatever little time I would have had for testing. So, I haven't been able to test songs yet, and due to that our songs have not been tested. Which is understandable, as that's the way it works. (That, and Creators is slowly waking up, so testing in general still needs to pick up a bit.) I think it'll be a little while before we really get the ball rolling, but when we do, it will roll. Once I have something worth mentioning, I'll bump the Chart Toppers Authoring thread with that.

Note again that I'm only speaking from my own perspective and not for any other author involved in RBN.

And so, to speak for myself:

It's a little like when the 1.0->2.0 switchover happened. If you remember, things were actually pretty slow for a while after that. Took some time to pick up. The difference was, then, we had a lot of enthusiasm- we knew what was going on, we were getting new stuff, it all generally looked and felt pretty nice. This time, the whole situation was confusing. The zeitgeist is much more downbeat. And in my personal case, I've been beat up with a lot of emotional issues at the same time making it hard to do anything, much less hit the ground running on authoring.
