To be fair, it felt in this thread at least you were parroting other folks, rather than contributing anything new to the site.
I appreciate what you're trying to do though, even if I don't find it very useful as a PS3er (I follow stuff on here, and that's enough for me to generate a good list of requests, with an occasional addition as I see fit). I think that if you want to get some traffic, you need to generate some unique content yourself. Videos? Links? Ratings? DLCQuickplay has that already, and in general does it better than you have, because it's implemented on a site that has other useful functionality.
You want to make your site about RBN? Get into the creators site, and talk with the companies about ways you can help promote RBN. Get news and new release info from the companies, offer links to things like videos, podcasts, and other interesting stuff. Do your own interviews with folks involved with RBN and put them up.
You want a good example of RB news and info sites that are useful?
Rockbandaide is a good RB news site, that finds articles both officially from HMX, as well as news from outside that may effect RB, useful articles, and links to things like DLC playthoughs. It's a comprehensive news site for RB related news, though its RBN content is limited to current releases for the most part.
DLCQuickplay has news, reviews, forums, and links to a setlist page generator, as well as ways you can access the data in a format you can use later in your own projects. While not every aspect of the page is great (I don't use the forurms there because I don't like the software they used, but I probably don't need another forum to be active in anyway), but it's overall well done, and useful.
RBDLC used to be a great place to handle DLC reviews. Sadly, it faded into obscurity after RB3, and was heading that way before hand when they closed the forums and never reopened them. From a pure review standpoint, it still has DLCQuickplay beat, though Quickplay now has better functionality overall. The review part was added later though, as it wasn't an initial intended feature (or at least it wasn't initially an option).
Rockbandscores.com is pretty much the premiere score site. Simple, easy to use, comprehensive, and pretty robust. No user generated content there outside of the play counter (the Popularity section), but that's user generated by the site.
Most of those sites had a specific focus, be it news, DLC management, Reviews, or Scores. You're trying to do a few things at the same time. I suggest you perhaps concentrate on one thing first (News), and add more later (reviews, song database). I suggest News because there is no real comprehensive news site for RBN, though I'll admit that's a lot more legwork than anything else.

I've never really considered the possibility of rbns being a news site like RBA, but I could see it happening. I'll get to work on thinking of stuff.

We got "Strangers" by Free Spirit at 160MSP

Has anyone checked Can o' Salt yet? On our setup the bass is acting up (it's louder than we set it) but I know some settings had been messed with before and I'm not sure if that's to blame or if we'll want to pull it.

Nevermind, I've looked into it. We are pulling it over the bass- in layman's terms it's too loud, in technical terms somewhere down the line it got re-rendered with all the headroom destroyed, which both makes it too loud and is possibly bad for the XBox hardware. I have no idea when or how or why that happened- it doesn't match the original render, and doesn't match a render from the current project settings. Sucks that nobody pointed it out, but it's easy enough to work around and get re-upped.

We got "The Way It Ends" by Prototype
And, Fairwood, song noted. I'll take it off the list and update it when it comes back up.
