TTFAF on pro guitar is HEAVILY tremolo picked (really fast alternate picking) and with the Mustang and it's floppy strings it'll be almost impossible to do this song. They're just trying to get more people buying the Squires after they fail for the 3700th time and throw their Mustangs out the window!

If prog and southern rock as a whole sold in thier heyday even a fraction of what the hair metal bands sold in thiers, you'd maybe have an argument. These are bands that sold millions and millions of albums. They are ignoring one of the best selling genre's of all time. Music sales are notoriously down over the last 15 years. Why wouldn't you try to feature stuff that actually did sell? Heck, Def Lep went over 10 million in sales on two albums, and we have one freakin' song from them, for example. The classic focus since the launch of RB3 is a good start. The stuff like Pat Benatar and the heartbreak pack was a another nice addition. Now lets get (re)-aquainted with yet another successful genre.

I completely agree with you that we need more hair bands in Rock Band, but you're not going to win any arguments with this "gnffhghwfghwgfwqwhgads" character. All you'll get is a bunch of sarcastic replies that are supposed to tell you that YOU actually don't know anything. =)

My tier predictions for ttfaf (0-6):

Guitar: Final song
Bass: Final tier
Drums: After Llama, before Panic Attack
Harmonies: Will likely be overtiered, tier 4 or 5
Pro Keys: Right before Roundabout
Full Band: Last song

The only way TTFAF will be before Panic Attack is if Harmonix uses extreme bias in their tiering selections. Panic Attack is extremely easy compared to what TTFAF should be.

RE: Whether "Black Magic Woman" will include the "Gypsy Queen" outro or not - It will not. That is actually considered a full song in itself, requiring all the unique licensing/submission work that goes into putting any single song out for DLC.

RE: Whether TTFaF would be an edit or the full length version - It will be the full length version, as will "Operation Ground & Pound," and "Spinning Wheel."

Super cool. I really don't mind the absence of Gypsy Queen, but not having the full length versions of everything else would be very underwhelming.

My argument is hair metal isn't being 'ignored', especially compared to other genres. Ignored is ignored regardless of record sales, you know.

As are many bands we've never seen in music games.
