We put out another preview video! The first song on SIMPL3JACK's self-titled album, coming to RBN in its entirety, "O-Ren!" It's one of my favorites on the album. Check it out!

More previews tomorrow, and quite possibly a new artist announcement!

    Happy Friday everyone!

We've got one new preview video, one new artist announcement and one OP overhaul for you today! I've now updated the OP with the current state of several of our songs in the pipeline. We're really getting things moving now! More songs of ours will be in Peer Review shortly.

SNMT's "PON DE FIOR" was one of our most interesting tracks. It's so different from everything else in the RBN library, and the keys are so difficult that we still want to give away 800 MSP to whoever can capture an Expert Pro Keys FC on video. But that's not why I'm mentioning this song. I'm mentioning it because we finally have a video preview of one of the two additional songs we're doing for SNMT. Here's a preview video of "SEX," quite possibly the shortest and strangest song we will ever release!

We're proud to also announce that we've signed Venezuelan rock band Sifting, and we're bringing the title track to their upcoming album "All the Hated" to Rock Band! Much like RBN bands The Asbestos and BioShaft, these Venezuelan rockers sing in English and have a unique, powerful sound that makes for excellent Rock Band gameplay. Check out the news post and preview video here, in English and in Spanish!

    More to come soon!

Howdy folks! Exciting releases to announce!

First off, Winter Crescent returns to RBN with the first song from their first album "Battle of Egos," appropriately titled "Battle of Egos Intro." It’s the easiest metal song we’ll probably ever release, but it’s no pushover either! Guitar and bass have some tricky parts thrown in, and drums will provide a bit of challenge to even the more seasoned drummers! Pick it up for only 80 MSP!

Next, we’re absolutely ecstatic to announce that PS3 is about to get their first all-instrument devil-tier RBN2 song! That’s right, you guys are finally getting some brvtal chiptvnes in the form of RAINBOWDRAGONEYES! “Heavy Weather – The Storm ov The Undead” is making its way to PS3 this Tuesday! (Wednesday if you’re in Europe.) This song is, hands down, the most difficult thing we’ve released to date, and still insanely fun. Its release on PS3 gives us hope for the future, as we are rereleasing “Creatures ov Deception” JUST so you guys have another shot at it. (Well, that and the epic keys/harmonies.)

I realize, while making these posts, that our short preview videos do well at generating hype but they don’t show enough of these amazing songs. So, we’re in the process of recording full-length gameplay videos of each and every song we’ve released thus far, and upon catching up, we’ll have a video of our new releases as soon as we confirm they’re headed to the store!

Wanna help us release more music? We’re still looking for more authors to help us out! We have many songs waiting to be done, and we could sure use your help to make this our year! Apply here if you’re interested; get involved in RBN by making fun charts and get paid for it too!

That’s all I got for now. Looking to announce some REALLY exciting stuff in the coming weeks!

Alright, the Sony store should have updated last night, so...

Pick up Heavy Weather - The Storm ov The Undead by Rainbowdragoneyes on your PS3 for $0.99 and get your hands on one of the hardest and most awesome RBN tracks to ever release! If it does well, it should make it more likely that Creatures ov Deception (RB3 version) will port over once it's out!

For Xbox people, we're wrapping up a few songs this week, and I hope to have exciting new videos and announcements this weekend!

Happy Valentine's Day! We've got two new artists and one other new video to reveal, and maybe more later!

First off, we have a song just for people who like to play guitar and vocals at the same time. We're bringing "Faster Than a Bullet" by Zing Experience to RBN!

Next, this artist is new to us but not to you. Rocket Ship Resort is back, and they're releasing "Postcard" as their second RBN track!

And finally (for now), we have another SIMPL3JACK video for you. Here's "Lizard Wash," the sixth track from their self-titled album! And, this Thursday, we have the official release of "Song for Meg!" Early link's already out, but as per usual I recommend waiting until Thursday.

    Enjoy!

Note: This song is very awesome. If you haven't at least listened to it, do so now.
I went to Harmonix and ordered a pepperoni pizza. Instead, they gave me a cheese pizza and told me that I could buy one pepperoni slice every week.

New release today! SIMPL3JACK makes their Rock Band debut with "Song for Meg," the second song from their self-titled album courtesy of Holy War Entertainment! These guys are no older than 15, yet can deliver some pretty awesome punk. Guitarists will love the trippy effects solo after the second chorus. The song is only 80 MSP, as will be the rest of the album!

We have two videos to show off today too! Both are from Broken Equilibrium, who've so far released "Epitome of Misery," "November," and "Culling the Weak" to RBN, each with double bass versions. Aside from "Etchings," here are the other two tracks we're bringing, "Devour" and "Separation!" "Devour" is a kickass hard rock track with quite the double bass, and "Separation" is unique for being not only the mellowest Broken Equilibrium track on the album aside from "November," but also for NOT having a 2x Bass Pedal version coming. It's still plenty of fun on drums, with sporadic cymbal rolls on verses and several fun tom fills. It's also one of my favorite songs on vocals from our catalog. Click the links above to check out the videos.

We're nowhere near done. I'm hoping to show off more brand-new songs next week! Until then, pick up "Song for Meg" and enjoy!

    Hey guys!

It’s another release day for us, as Spassm’s “Ghost of Fallen Pluto” finally hits the store! The original release of this song was blocked for lyrical content, so the artist gave us full blessing to strike out the vocals and release this as an instrumental. Now, after a grueling approval process, you get to enjoy a bunch of fun charts! Every part of this song is fun to play, and it’s only 80 MSP!

We have a bunch of new stuff to unveil today...a day later than I would have liked. Ah well.

First off, I've got 3 new videos from previously announced artists. Check them out!

    SIMPL3JACK - Humanoid

This is the shortest song on the album, so the video shows the whole thing. It's a quick, energetic punk track about...well, humanoids. Check it out.

Winter Crescent - My Last Will

Clocking in at around 6:30 in length, "My Last Will" is an epic track from Greek progressive metal band Winter Crescent that's full of everything you could ever want in a prog metal track...except keys. Making up for the lack of keys is a diverse guitar track with a fun and challenging solo, brutal drums with more than enough double bass to kill your foot, a constantly moving bassline and powerful vocals. At 80 MSP, it's definitely worth a look.

    Winter Crescent - Winter Crescent

No, I didn't hit Ctrl-V by accident. Winter Crescent actually has a song named "Winter Crescent." It's the shortest song on the album at around 3 minutes, but if you think it's gonna be anywhere near as easy as "Battle of Egos Intro," think again. This holds up well with the other non-Intro songs on the album as a challenging but fun prog metal track. Take what I said about "My Last Will" except for the guitar solo and you've got a good idea of what to expect from this one.

Now for new artists! First off, we haven't had enough of punk rock yet (and we probably never will) so we're proud to announce that we're bringing "Dudes and Guys and Things and Stuff" by Straight Outta Junior High to Rock Band! It's one of the best songs about absolutely nothing you'll probably ever hear.

We just unveiled a ton of songs without keys. You keys players who are still reading this are in for a treat, as we're bringing the talented Lechuga to RBN with his instrumental prog metal masterpiece, "O Vurdón!" This Chilean guitarist was chosen by Steve Vai for a scholarship in London and was chosen by Mike Portnoy to perform with Dream Theater (one of the many acts Lechuga has shared the stage with) and you're about to hear why. This is mainly one for the guitarists, with three solos and many, many riffs, but bassists and keyboardists aren't in for an easy ride. Drummers will have fun too, whether you use one or two pedals, because this song is getting a 2x Bass Pedal version!

I hope these tracks give you another reason to be excited about RBN. We have no more to reveal today, but we do have many more songs coming. One hint for a new artist we plan to reveal soon: progressive rock.

    Goodnight everybody!
