I've been looking into this and I think it might be possible to do this. Ark Music Factory owns the publishing rights while Black owns the masters. Here are the emails to AMF:

I don't know for sure who you would need to contact, Baum or AMF, depending on whether you'd need to get permission from whoever owns the publishing rights. You would need to get the masters from Black, I do know that.

What you can do: If you work with an authoring group you can see about getting a deal. If you don't work with a group you can show your support to them for getting the song released.

yes, because the worst song EVER written needs to be on rockband... our efforts would be better spent attempting to kill ourselves... or, at least, getting better bands... by better, i mean anything. ANYTHING else.

1. Musical taste is subjective.
2. You wouldn't have to buy it or even acknowledge it's availability for Rock Band.
3. If an authoring group were to put a deal with Led Zeppelin on hold to make this happen I'd see your logic, but that probably won't be the case.
4. Authoring groups are capable of working with more than one artist at a time.

I don't care if it's released but it would be another point in favor of those that believe RBN is a joke to most people and severely diminishes the efforts of actual bands trying to make some money and exposure

I never want to see this show up under new songs on a Thursday, when RBN songs are released. I'd laugh 'till I die!
