Yeah I think that's pretty much the holy grail of nerdly-beloved Japanese songs that we could get. Popular as a J-pop song, popular as the theme to a popular anime, and recognizable as the epic endgame stage from the first Ouendan game... If Harmonix decided that we would get exactly one Japanese song and then no more ever, I think that would be the one to go with.

I wonder how easy it would be to get Namco-Bandai on board with some songs from Katamari Damacy. They've been in the music gaming scene for a while, porting over a few Taiko Drum games and handling the Donkey Konga series. And it's not much of a stretch for other gaming companies to utilize HMX's system, considering Insomniac Games' "(pin)Ballz."
