I don't normally follow actors/actresses closely, but this woman is a rare exception. She has such a strong physical presence on screen in her work, with "The Tree of Life" being my favorite so far. I would recommend on of her earliest, "Jolene", to start off with. Okay film at it's core, but she lifts it off a great deal. Even if she doesn't win the Oscar on Sunday, I'll still be a loyal follower of her work in the future.

I wouldn't recommend Jolene in all honesty, but yes Chastain puts a lot of effort into her performances. I've liked all of her bits in Take Shelter, The Tree of Life, Zero Dark Thirty, Lawless, Texas Killing Fields, The Help, and Coriolanus.
