While I'm not the biggest fans of the CMCs, they've done better episodes before - i.e. Ponyville Confidential. While I enjoyed the new character being introduced, it's far too easy to see where the episode was going. It has some cute moments, but it's a miss-able episode in the MLP line-up.

Just watched the two-part season three opener. Better than the other two-parters. I'm a bit eager to get into the normal episodes. I feel like the songs in the season opener were forced into it though. Neither of them seemed really necessary or were particularly moving.

It's moments like Pinkie's crazy face or how she was silenced in Magic Duel that keep me watching.

The recent "character progression" (if you could even call it that) of Twilight is pretty awful from my standpoint. If the show continues into another season I see no way how this show is going to carry on like it had before.

well they already confirmed that season 4 is in the works... while I am not to fond of the new Twilight I will trust the writers

also it does not hurt that season 4 will be back to 26 episodes
