Azumanga Daioh is great. You should also check out Pani Poni Dash if you haven't. It reminded me of Azumanga a bit, although Pani Poni is a LOT weirder.

I think I watched the first episode or two of that. I know the roomy liked it. I'll have to go dig it up again and refresh my memory.

Is it me, or do every single Pony-based Abridged series on youtube just suck? One has decent jokes but is done in a poor one-man-cast style like YGOA (which I abhor with a passion, especially when the mic quality is garbage). One has an actual cast but the pacing's veeeerrryy ssllllooooowww (and the jokes are meh). One just doesn't want to follow plot (which makes sense if the ponies are supposed to be insane, but then that's not really "Abridged"). There's no way to enjoy any of them like DBZA.

I think I need to remedy this soon.

It's probably a case of having a smaller audience. Naruto, YGO and Code Geass were very popular so it was more likely there would be some creative people willing to make a quality abridged series with some good jokes.

Just started watching the show three days ago. It's awesome! I'm at episode 16 right now.
Also, most songs from the show would be awesome in Rock Band!

So I discovered this show about two months ago. At first I dismissed it as I gather many other people do, but I got around to watching one episode and I was hooked. It got me through my last month of University.

I just got into the later episodes where Rarity starts getting the spotlight and that pony is a hoot! Episode 19 was amazing for how she kept the Diamond Dogs at her mercy by simply being herself. Not to mention she really is an outstanding character both in terms of positive traits and having realistic flaws.

Pinkie Pie still takes top spot for being totally bonkers. Rarity is still awesome, though.

Has anyone read the Fan fiction "Cupcakes?" I think it may have been brought up in here previously, but here it is again.

It's a delightful little story that anyone who is familiar with the show should read.
