Whoever quoted that, and if you think the same, you are missing the significance of this event. He was the face of the war on terror. Killing him was as important as it would of been if they killed the USA President. The symbolic magnitude of the event is momentous.

People can analysis the events after, but that's like quoting WW2 statistics after Hitler was dead. Yea, we could of stopped at German borders and saved a lot of lives, but killing the face of the war helps people move on. What will happen in Afghanistan and Iraq? Who knows, but the people now feel less of a reason to stay there. We got the piece of s**t leaders, time to go home.

My view is that monster is dead and I'm glad he finally met his end. Everyone's reactions show how they feel about what is essentially America's greatest act of vengeance. Bin Laden's death is major, but it is hardly the death blow to his network. Weakened yes, but not dead. The rest of the leadership still has to be dealt with.

I have the radio tuned to the local country station and all of the requests being phoned in are patriotic songs. Toby Keith's Courtesy Of The Red, White And Blue couldn't be more appropriate. *sniff* The patriotism is really getting to me.

The first song I thought of was the Team America: World Police theme (America F**k Yeah!), and now I'm seeing it everywhere. Even though it's a satire, it's the best patriotic song ever.

It's a great victory for America, sure, we've been looking for this guy for nearly a decade now and we've finally found him and killed him, but in the greater scheme of things, Bin Laden's death doesn't mean much at this point in the war. There are still plenty of people out there that are just as dangerous as he was.

But, I still clap America on the back for a job well done and succeeding in one of their main objectives in the war. You know it's a big deal when ESPN is talking about this.

It's a good thing this guy has been stopped. Though I do not condone celebrating someone's death because they got shot and killed, I am very glad he won't be leading Al-Quida (is that how you spell it?) anymore.

However, I do feel that there are other threats. Any big leader like that would totally have a vice-leader, or whatever. He'll probably be a n00b, though, and get caught in a few months.
