Can anyone help?

I am in High School and i take part in track and field after school. I ALWAYS keep a lock on my gym locker but today i forgot my lock so i tucked my phone away on a binder in my bag. After a short workout I come in to see my bag on the floor and my 9 month old phone gone. It was a motorola backflip on ATT. I still have the one year warrenty, will that cover stolen phones. I already called and put a hold on the line and sim card but am pretty mad about the whole situation. I know it is my fault for not having my lock but I know that I could never steal something from someone like that without feeling terrible about.

As for your warranty, I don't think that covers theft.

That's all right.

The average warranty covers only mechanical failure/defects in workmanship. I don't think your phone's warranty will be any different, so I'm afraid you're out of luck there.

The best I could tell you is at least now you know for next time.

Anything that is not locked up or on you at all times is nearly guaranteed to be stolen in high school. Especially drugs or expensive electronics.
