Lightbulb Wheelchair and can't use legs - Option in future Rock Bands to bypass the foot pedal?

I'm posting this in the hope that somebody from Harmonix will read this. I wasn't sure where else to really post this, so if anybody knows how I can contact Harmonix more directly, please let me know.

I'm in a wheelchair and can't use my legs because I'm a paraplegic. I love the Rock Band series and play the guitar, play the bass, and sing. The one thing I can't physically do is play the drums because it requires use of the foot pedal. The only time I ever get to play the drums is when I am with friends and we get an extra person to hit the foot pedal for me while I hit the drums. This isn't exactly a fun way to do it, but it's the only way that I can do so.

I'd like to strongly suggest an option available in future Rock Band games to bypass the pedal, so that all you have to play are the four drums. Without this, people like me (and I'm sure there are many more people like me out there playing Rock Band games) won't be able to enjoy an entire instrument... and that's a HUGE part of this game.

Thank you for your consideration!! (Again, does anybody know how I can contact Harmonix more directly? Thanks!)

I really wish they would include this option for people in your situation :/ but I don't think this is something they can patch
Artists I would like to see more of:
    Mew
    The Shins
    Vampire Weekend
    Pink Floyd
    The Strokes
    Radiohead
    QotSA
    Weezer

Right it's probably not something they can patch for already-released Rock Band games, but it's something they could provide in future Rock Band games.

I don't play the drums that often so I could be way off here but wasn't there some kind of autokick option?

There was in Lego Rock Band and maybe that other franchise?

That's what I'm thinking of it's Lego Rock Band that has autokick. I didn't know it wasn't included in RB3.

Yeah the OP would be stuck playing Family Friendly pre RB3 only tunes in Lego:RB, but at least it would be an option.

Reasons like this are why I think they should've included the auto-kick option that they had in Lego Rock Band in RB3. They unfortunately did not. I think HMX has given the reason of leaderboards in the past. Lego Rock Band got away with it because that game doesn't have leaderboards. I'm not really sure why that matters though - people can play pro drums with as few as 1 cymbal. The only way this negatively affects you is that you would receive less points than people with 3 cymbals, as each cymbal hit gives a bit extra of a point bonus.

I think they should've made it so if people use auto-kick, you get zero points for the pedal, whether you actually hit it or not, but you don't lose combo. That way it's fair for the leaderboards, as you'll get less points, but you could still have the ability to work towards FCing without kick and still be able to record scores.

I'm not HMX and can't make these decisions though.

I'm not sure if your aware of this or not, but you can play songs and make progress with No Fail On? So you can play whatever song you want without hitting the bass notes and still play? You may have to also turn on No Miss Sounds as well.

Unfortunately until the next game (If there is one) this is probably the closest you can get.

This is why I fully support an auto-kick feature. Disregard the people that would "abuse" it, since there are people who would legitimately benefit from it.

While it's not in RB3, turning on No Fail will not disable saving, so at least that's an alternative if you want. Kicks will destroy your combo and likely your ability to get any overdrive, but you'll still get to save scores, which is more than any of the other non-Lego:RB games can say.
