Actually, the some in this instance is probably used to clarify that the DLC we are getting is not inclusive of every song on those two albums (lest people expect that we're getting both full albums). Anyone reading that sentence and taking out their own hopes/dreams/wishes, would not read this as an indication that they intend to release material from other albums. I think you are really setting yourself up for a disappointment...
Moving Pictures was mostly a fiasco because they delayed it at the last minute. I never sensed the screams about Pantera reaching the fever pitch of the Stevie Ray release. Plus, it was Stevie Ray's debut on RB (one of the best guitarists ever and a new genre of music) and HMX left it on the shelf for a long time. Combine this with the fact that back then everyone really "needed" content and the genre was still very much a pop culture phenomenon, and the screams were unbearable. I don't think I ever screamed about it on these boards myself, but that pack was something I was looking forward to every week and I was getting pretty annoyed and confused by the delays. Also, back then, HMX had made the "mistake" of announcing a few things that had later fallen through or never materialized, so I think everyone was really expecting that the delay meant that the album was just never going to show. I think HMX has gotten much better about not making mistakes announcing things before they are 100%, but I also think that's why they've gotten much more tight-lipped about DLC in general.

I hope they include
Bark at the Moon
Mr. Crowley
No More Tears (Rock Band 3 Version)
Goodbye to Romance
I don't care what the other 4 songs are as long as these 3 songs and if No More Tears get's upgraded

Mostly, the complaint was that people began to really complain when there was one month that the album releases didn't come out and follow the expected, yet unannounced, pattern. Texas Flood should be considered the goto reminder whenever people complain that HMX hasn't followed through on their promises when the expected promise never existed in the first place.
They had said we'd get six specific albums but never said when. It took eight or nine months to release them all and Texas Flood was 'delayed'. The first four came out roughly once a month. When the next album (either Texas Flood or Nothing Shocking) didn't fallow suit, people went nuts claiming that HMX lied about it.
It had to be pointed out again and again that HMX never said 'once a month', only 'these six albums'. The result, as mentioned, is a slightly less open HMX regarding certain elements and and increase in accusations that they are ignoring the fanbase (read: not personally answering repeated questions on these forums).
Now we have people certain that a statement, which can be taken to mean different things, confirms an absolute which also happens to be the opinion of the person making the claim. How convenient. And not at all predictable.
I predict:
1. Believer
2. Diary of a Madman
3. Flying High Again
4. Goodbye to Romance
5. I Don't Know
6. Mr Crowley
7. Over the Mountain
8. Suicide Solution
They're all gonna be studio tracks.
I wan dis:
Ozzy Osbourne Pack 02
Goodbye to Romance
I Don't Know
Diary of a Madman
Civilize the Universe
Hellraiser
Shot in the Dark
Mr. Crowley
Flying High Again
8/9/11 (Def Leppard) will be marked as the best day in RB history for me. HMX, major thanks for all this amazing DLC you put out!
