In my experience, Flying High Again and Over the Mountain get more radio play than Bark At the Moon. Mr. Crowley gets played every once in a while, but not nearly enough. I guess the popularity of Bark At the Moon can be attributed to Guitar Hero and Grand Theft Auto. And I agree that it's odd for someone to hate those songs but like Bark At the Moon

In all seriousness, I blame Sharon Osbourne for this thread.

She stupidly had the bass and drums rerecorded and I guess as a result an entire generation has slept on Randy Rhoades.

I'm rather shocked that it seems like 9 out of 10 people on this thread seem to only know over the hill Ozzy pop songs rather than the classic albums that made his career. Perhaps this rerelease will be successful and kids will get back into Randy who used to be on every third person's t-shirt in the 80s.
Waiting for Depeche Mode, Patti Smith, Pavement, Public Enemy & more Rolling Stones. I have 2,000+ songs!

I'm not familiar with the first two songs, but "Rock Me" would also be nice.

Who do I have to get drunk in order to get "Red Solo Cup" in Rock Band?

Check them out, you won't regret it. Some of the most amazing guitar work.

    House of Broken Love

    Maybe Someday

From a guitar players perspective it seems odd to me. IMO

Have you heard of the other 4 boys in the band? Bass, Drums, Keys, and Vocals? For example, I am buying Mr. Crowley only for the Pro Keys. What does it have to do with any guitarist? I wouldn't care whether it was Randy Rhoads or tomahawk_72 playing guitar, I'd still buy it for the Pro Keys.

I really wish that we were getting more Pro upgrades for the blizzard and diary tracks, but oh well. I hope it's either Diary or Flying High Again.

The Diary of a Madman album was Ozzy's finest post-sabbath work IMHO
I'm with you and Saybur. I consider the worst songs from Rhoads-era Ozzy to be superior to the best songs from all other (non-Sabbath) Ozzy. Just don't get the love for BatM.

"Bigger packs may have bigger discounts, which means people who buy all or most of the DLC - the biggest and most loyal Harmonix supporters by definition - will spend less money in the future. "

I think the regular buyers of DLC make up more than 2 out of 100,000 RB members (that's what 0.002% equals). Considering RB is largely a DLC-only enterprise right now, the heavy DLC buyers are the PRIMARY audience for RB so I agree with the top quote.

What I meant was that over a million unique Users play Rock Band every month, and only 20 or so people owned every song in the library when they checked in last year

NO KIDDING. I like "Bark at the Moon" the most not because it was in GH1 or in a GTA game. It's because I grew up watching the AWESOME music video and I have fond memories of my older brother and I rocking out to the tune. It's one of the few Ozzy songs from this pack I personally want in my RB library.

That's not to say the other songs are bad. This is a solid Ozzy pack, but I just don't want all of it. Now if this pack included "So Tired", "Shot in the Dark" and "Breakin' All the Rules" that'd be a whole 'nother ball o' wax.
