So? We're clearly past the two year mark, and nothing has even been done for the game. So what does that tell you about release schedules from here on out?

I'm going to guess there's going to be a lot of whining about this. As for me *shrugs*
I knew MK is pretty OP (I mean no character has a statistic advantage over him, for crying out loud) but I really don't play competitively. I mean, I play with competitive rules and have attended tourneys, but I don't do all the really cool hardcore stuff. Just admire in the background

I remember the backlash when everyone thought the Smash scene in France banned MK (which turned out to be that they were only considering it), and it was pretty irritating.

Glad to know that the Smash competitive scene is trying to make Brawl more balanced (like Smogon for the Pokemon competitive scene). A bit too late for me, but it's still nice to know

Me neither. The game is by far much more of a party game when compared to Melee.

I actually don't play Melee anymore because its so much more competitive and much less enjoyable. People are more concerned about winning than having fun. Brawl is more lax and has more ridiculous randomness.

That's WHY they made the engine mods for Brawl, guys.

Yeah, If you want a party game that's made by Nintendo, Mario Party (1-3) is handsdown the best. Kind of scares me knowing there's a new one coming since they all sucked after they porter off N64. As for SSB, it's a coin toss game with it's perks. Can be for parties or for competition.
