I can promise you in all my years in retail there is no contract that requires filling pre-orders. Ever. From any supplier.
My reaction to you was because I was pissed off by your (to paraphrase), "All of you are just saying a lot of nothing. I've been helping people to get the Squier--what have you done? If you aren't helping then you have nothing to contribute to this thread". As I said before, self-righteous BS. While it's awfully good of you to spend your time going out and buying Squiers and shipping them to people abroad (which is what I assume you mean by "helping"), suggesting that any of the rest of us should even want to do that in that condescending "tone" is, once again, out of line.
And I'm not calling you a "noob"--I'm 53 and I don't use the term. I don't know how long you've been playing RB and I don't care--it's entirely irrelevant. But you are new to membership and participation in this forum, no matter how long you may have been reading it, and it irks me that the first thing you choose to do is make a post pointing the finger of shame at participants in this thread for not "helping". Again, the current title of this thread was set by the moderators, to avoid misleading people with an interest in the Squier, and has nothing to do with its topic. The mods don't tell us what to talk about in threads that they didn't start, just what we can't talk about.
Now was that so hard? Polite and completely unoffensive, unlike:
Which is what got me started. In any case I'm over it and willing to "bury the hatchet" if you are.
If someone in another country wants to buy something which can only be ordered in the US, there are numerous mail forwarding companies which they can use: US2ME, Bongo US, My US, Access USA--the list goes on and on. They assign customers a US address to have things shipped to and when they receive them they send them on to the customer's address in another country. There's a premium to be paid, but they're going to pay a premium, period--there's no avoiding international shipping costs and duties. It's very possible that those companies can ship it to them for less than any of us, given that as volume shippers they're likely to be paying a lot less than any of us.

My question to you is this..
If someone in another country, sent you message asking for you to help them get a squier, would you?
Unless your answer is yes, in my opinion your words mean NOTHING!
Your self righteous attitude is very evident and clear when responding to my posts.

My response would be the same as the end of my last post. I'd send that person a list of US mail forwarding services which could do this for him. Open an account with the service of your choice, order from BB, having it sent to the US address provided you by that service and when they get it they'll send it to you.
What you seem to be suggesting is that I ask that person to send me money and when I get it, that I go to Best Buy, purchase a Squier and take it to some shipper to have it sent to him. Conservatively, this'll take two to three hours of my free time and some amount of gasoline, to help someone in another country obtain a luxury item that he could order for himself using a mail forwarding service. If you have the inclination to spend your time that way, that's cool, but I don't, I doubt that many others do and you're not going to make me feel guilty. There are many thousands of more worthy ways for me to be charitable with my time.
You seem to be very weak on the concept of self-righteousness. One form of self-righteousness is saying, "I'm doing this good thing, you're not and that makes me better than you". You know, like:Your self righteous attitude is very evident and clear when responding to my posts.
I haven't said anything remotely like that.
What are you going on about? I get upset because I hear you telling me and others in this discussion what to do and somehow that implies that I think that I'm the only voice here? (And believe me, I'm not the one embarrassing himselfYou are not the only voice on this Forum... Learn to deal with it.

In these last couple of posts, I'm the only one of us whose made a practical suggestion as to how people outside of the US might go about getting a Squier, which is to hire a mail-forwarding service and not to depend on finding a stranger to send them one.
And as for leaving our "war of words" out of the discussion, in one post you say:
And I might have left it alone, but then, a few posts later, you say:
You are such a frickin' troll. I placed you on my ignore list last night but couldn't resist peeking at your posts. I promise you that I will from now on.
