    question about setlist editing

I couldn't find the answer in a search, and I can't post in the software section.

I looked yesterday, and feel like I'm just missing it somewhere. Can I not edit my setlist and add songs? I want to add Take on me to my 80's setlist. I couldn't find where to do it.
It shouldn't bother me...BUT IT DOES!

Delete your setlist and make it again every time you want to add a song.

Rate EVERY SONG you have with one thumb and all the songs you want to play with five thumbs. Then just select party shuffle and bam - your 5 thumb tunes in random order... until you run out of 5 thumbs and have to play the one thumbs... in random order.

"Oh, but I have 800+ songs," etc. etc. Well, it only took about 5-10 mins. Once they're all 1 thumbs, it won't take anywhere near that amount of time the next times. Sort by RATING - change all 5's to 1's, then 5 thumb everything you want to play the next time. Easy peasy.

nice! but sounds too much work... i wish someday harmonix do the setlist feature a little better. You create a setlist (for a party as example) and you can enter inside the setlist playing all in one go or playing one by one or select some to play... like a quickplay screen inside your setlist. that would be very easy to manage and find what you will play inside a small amount of songs. This way you can create your own "filters".

setlists created in game can't be edited, and it would take a game patch to fix that. so i can understand why that isn't likely to be fixed or changed.

but what about setlists created on the rock band site? as far as i know (someone can correct me if i'm wrong) those setlists are stored on the rock band site and DL'ed when you sign in to the game. so why can't they at least fix the site to allow setlists created online to be edited? it wouldn't require a game patch, just some website updates. even if there was some technical reason i'm missing why online setlists can't be edited, why not at least give the ability to create a new setlist based on a previously existing setlist with an ability to edit the new setlist before saving it?

i like to create setlists online because a) i can do it at work (shhhh) and b) it's easier than creating them in-game, thanks to the song search function, as long as you know which songs you have in your library. but having to delete and recreate a setlist just because i want to add/remove one song or change the song order is a real PITA.
