MAN, it's been a while since I got to bump this. With Machinehead coming out next week in the Bush pack, there's now a track from every decade on my list except the 60s (still waiting on that Beach Boys pack or Kinks pack!!).

There are about 10 songs on this list that I like and a few of these songs are already on Rock Band. I think "The Kinks" song should be "You Really Got Me" and the "Metallica" song should be "One". There are a couple of great songs like "Can't Stop" so if this was a game I might buy it just for that song, lol.

This list was made last June. I've bolded any songs released after posting the list as DLC. Also, Bang a Gong and My Sharona are already DLC, but are cover versions and could obviously benefit from an RB3 version upgrade, as well. Also, as GNF pointed out, this is just an Ultimate Setlist, so it's really all moot.

Personally, I hate the song One by Metallica. It's long, repetitive, overplayed, and overused in rhythm games. I chose Turn the Page because we have virtually no Metallica from the mid to late 90s. Plus I hate the idea that just because Metallica is in a game's setlist, it NEEDS to be one of the hardest songs in the game.

Yeah, but it's length alone would make a higher tiered song. Add the solo and it's most likely devil tiered on Guitar.

Haven't gotten to bump this in a while. With "Cult of Personality" picked for Blitz, I'm highlighting picks for Blitz in red now. Personally, I can't WAIT to play this game. I'm assuming it's going to be another re-record or a live version since the masters were unusable back in the GH3 days.

Woooooo! Under Cover of Darkness is being released as DLC next week, which means one more from the setlist! Definitely picking that song up. Hopefully this means we can get more from The Strokes in the future.

I looked through this a second time and I realised a few things.
-There's little variety in the metal. Most of it's glam, which I'm not a huge fan of. Although I do like the Megadeth pick.
-There's a huge lack of prog. You could add bands like King Crimson, Genesis, Emerson, Lake And Palmer, Rush, Dream Theater, The Mars Volta, etc.
-A good Ozzy Osbourne pick would be "Shot In The Dark"
-There's too much Pop, but maybe that's just me.
Overall I gave it a 3/5 because there are a few songs that I would need to have.
