Just use 2 fingers, pointer for 6,6 and ring or pinky for 888.

On some chord patterns where it goes like:

    02220
    02230
    02220
    02200

I tend to hold the 022 with my pointer finger and the high 2 with my middle finger, then hit the 3 with my ring finger (the new live song does this alot)
    Squier or die!

lazy jerk tip: The game doesn't really care what you do with the tail end of chords. It ignores the E string and sometimes the B string as well. Just barre it with your ring finger.

Just remember to correct your poor technique later on as your fingers get stronger.

I figured this thread would be talking about the x-7-9-x-8-12 chord at the end of No One Knows :-P

I tend to not have so much of a problem with that chord

    Little hint for you:

If the chord is 6-8-8-8-6 the game accepts the chord even if you play 6-8-8-8-8. So just barré the 8th fret with your ring finger and you'll be fine.

This strategy also works on a real guitar, but you have to make sure you do not barré the high E chord with your ring finger (and don't mute it either!). Fretting three strings with one finger but not the high E string is not easy but it's doable with a little practice.
