How are the RBN "RB3 Versions" selling?

Or is it too soon to know? I'm curious because in my veeewwwy veeewwwy small RBN collection, there's a song I thought was perfect for keys/harmonies charting, Evanescence's "Going Under." Even though I only bought it in the first place about 3 or 4 months ago, I would totally buy an RB3 Version as well. I suppose it's possible, if not likely, that the people authoring for a mainstream band like Evanescence aren't the same and aren't as into it as the people authoring for the less well-known bands (the majority of RBN), but I'm still curious.

You can get an estimate by going to rockbandscores - there's an option there for "DLC Popularity" (which shows how many different people have a score for a song, which may not equal the number of people who actually BOUGHT it).

The most played song with a 'standard version', The Final Episode ... by Asking Alexandria, has about 2,000 plays in two months (compared to nearly 9K of the original on the 360).

To put it in perspective, the Queen (RB3 Version) songs seem to estimate about half the plays of the original versions (from 7,000 - 20,000) on the 360 alone, and the Bon Jovi re-releases have a surprising 25K - 30K plays.

Assuming those numbers are accurate, there IS a market for them, no matter how much grumbling there was when it first "officially" happened. But we'll always see dozens more (2x Bass Versions) than (RB3 Versions). The former takes no effort to chart by comparison, and regardless of the sales it's a free pass to advertise a song twice.

It'd be interesting to see how Going Under (RB3 Version) might do, since it's currently the second most played RBN song out there on the 360 (third overall).

Wasn't there a thread about this like 2 weeks ago?

Edit: Doh, this is RBN, not regular Rock Band. Still, useful discussion.

though some people don't take into perspective that the Queen and stuff was bought by new players as well...
I did buy SOME upgrades.. but not all..
I don't play keys or harmonies near enough...
I'd probably rebuy the Asking Alexandria just for harmonies though.
