Disappearing Notes in Pro Guitar Practice / Training

This is presumably a known bug but I honestly couldn't find a thread about it...

When I'm practicing pro guitar songs or training lessons, the first couple of notes frequently disappear from the note track. Is there any sign of a fix forthcoming for this as it's pretty annoying when trying to concentrate on learning a new part.

Yeah, I've noticed this too - happens quite a lot when training (learning) new songs on Pro Bass.

If it is the behavior I am thinking of, what causes it is changing the speed (for example, from 100% to 70%) before the note highway appears.

That said, the trainers are full of bugs, so you might be talking about something else.

Interesting, I have never seen that. The one noticeable bug I've found in the guitar trainer is trying to use the trainer on Oye Mi Amour it freezes every time and i have to reboot.

During learn-a-song mode (I'm currently doing pro bass tutorials), let's say the song is split into 4 different sections.

I'll eventually get all the notes correct in the first section, so I press RIGHT on my D-PAD on the Mustang, and it will be ready for section 2. I then press 'X' to start it, and the highway will look blank. Suddenly I get the warning that I missed a note, and all the notes will magically appear on the highway right in front of me like they were there all along (but invisible).

Just a simple bug, I think. But does it quite a lot. (I'm on PS3)

I've had it happen to me randomly, but haven't found a pattern. Since several people have experienced it, it's a bug and not a fluke.

Any particular song? I imagine if you press left/right/left to go back to part 2 of the trainer that they will be there right.

It happens frequently when the first note in the trainer is too close to the beginning of the lesson. What happens is the note starts past the point where it is usually rendered and so it does not show up as visible.

The best way to correct this is to let the trainer loop though or else switch lessons and restart.

To be more specific...

When I'm practicing a pro guitar part if I mess up in a section I use left and right on the D-pad to skip to a previous section then back again to reset the section I'm on by pressing A. It seems that the first 2 or 3 notes will disappear randomly from the track but will reappear when you "miss" them.

Not exactly a game breaker but does interfere with practice and would definitely appreciate seeing this fixed.
