How does RBN work for PSN users?

I ask because I've noticed lots of songs on XBL that are not on the PSN. I read its something about a 30 day delay for PSN users but I've seen thats not always the case. Like for instance, the song "the final episode" (the 2.0 RBN version) by asking alexandria has been out for more than 30 days on XBL but is no where to be found on the PSN. Can anyone please help me with my predicament.

Harmonix chooses some, but not all, of the songs to port to RBN for Playstation Network. The ones that don't get selected usually remain unavailable for PS3 gamers.

The delay is only a minimum. For various reasons, Harmonix only ports 5 songs a week from XBox to PS3. It's an actual porting process, there's effort involved. So due to that limitation, they only select a few of the popular and unique ones from the XBox collection to go to PS3. Some are lucky and they show up pretty much right when they can, others take almost a year after they're eligible. Many songs never show up. If you're hoping for a specific song, your best bet is to be patient, and requesting it in the request thread doesn't hurt.

We actually have gotten some of the better ones.
Yes i would like all of them but we've gotten the major ones... I don't need to hit the 3k mark anytime soon anyhow LOL.
