    Good song?

My school has a talent show in late October, and I want to do a song on the drums. Obviously, this is a good place to look for help. Are there any interesting yet well known (to this generation) songs out there? By interesting, I mean a song that has more than the basic rock beat going the entire time, like Who Are You, but easier (I'm not that good yet, though it's my last resort). Thanks for the help!

I currently own RB2 (but too scratched to work), RB3, TBRB, GDRB, Lego RB, and the original RB..

He said more than a basic beat.

I'd hope that this generation knows The Beatles.... right?

If so Come Together. It's more than basic and it's really recognizable.

    Or maybe....

Foo Fighters have many great songs for drums. Some of my favorite are Rope and Learn to Fly. Also Blink 182 has some interesting drums in their songs like Aliens Exist or Dammit.

I think he was being sarcastic (hopefully).

I want to say something like Black Sabbath's "War Pigs", but if it's a high school you're playing in front of, the chances are nobody knows who Black Sabbath is.

It's too long of a song anyways.

Well, it can have a basic beat, but I'm just saying that it shouldn't be the entire song.

Yes, which is what 'more' means. AC/DC really IS that the whole time.

Unless you want to bore the crowd to death, don't play AC/DC.
