Why Jerry Lee Lewis song in RBN ?

    Hello guys !

I'm making a very classic rock band list with 50-60-70-80-90's songs so I search in the 4300 RB songs .

And in all the RBN list there is , for me , an intruder :

Jerry Lee Lewis - Great Balls of Fire:

Why is this song in RBN and not in "regular" section ?

I know it's not an important question but I"m curious

    In fact RBN it's most 2000 - 2013 songs no ?

    THanks

Because it was added to the game via RBN. RBN isn't just a section for "unknown modern music", but rather the section where authoring groups outside of Harmonix release songs. It's usually easier to get more unknown stuff and most of those bands need some extra promotion through RBN, hence a lot of unknown/smaller/niche bands, but sometimes a group gets lucky and get their hands on a big classic like Great Balls of Fire.

    Sometimes sometimes ...

In both RBN list (1.0 and 2.0) I only saw one song like that.

    Am I wrong ?

There's plenty of covers of old rock 'n roll hits by Jerry Naylor (of Sha Na Na fame) that were more recent recordings that are available. Have a look.

Other big name artists (of different genres) include Creed, Evanescence, Eiffel 65, Seether and Third Eye Blind.
