    Offbeat News

    Greetings RB Community!

We are jumping in a little late to the “New and Releases” party on these forums but have built up enough songs over the last year that it’s time we did.

Offbeat Entertainment was born from within a game development studio full of musicians. We have since built the song authoring team to 10 folks and have been starting to recruit more and more bands into the game. Our focus is to bring a large variety of music to Rock Band with everything from Punk to Funk to Blues to Country to even electric cellos

If you want to learn more about Offbeat, check out this blog from Harmonix.

Our full list of released songs can be found on our web site:
    www.offbeatent.com

We will use this forum to post about news and song releases from Offbeat Entertainment but you can also follow us at the normal places:

    Facebook: www.facebook.com/OffbeatEntertainment
    YouTube: www.youtube.com/OffbeatEntertainment

We’ve lined up some exciting new artists for 2012 and Rock Band Network. Hope you guys have as much fun playing their songs as we have had charting them!

Synthetic Elements is a blend of punk, rock, and ska music that hails from Denver, Colorado. With catchy guitar riffs, fun lyrics, and strong beats to move to, they have captured the attention of Denver and beyond. "Evelene" is their second song coming to the Rock Band Network and is a pirate tune about the high seas, swashbuckling, and loot.

Too Little Too Late by A Skylit Drive will be available on PS3 Tuesday the 19th!

This is our second tune to go to PS3 in as many weeks. Last week it was Queen Bee by Tina Guo. If you haven’t tried this song – it’s a must for hardcore guitarists

Oh, aren't you the guys who got Portugal. The Man in Rock Band Network? Here's one person begging for more of them, they're just screaming to have keys and harmonies treatment and literally any other song from Satanic Satanist (or their discography) aside from Do You would be awesome.

Yes, we were very lucky to work with Portugal. The Man - what a great band! We definitely have feelers out with their label to try and get some more of their tunes rolling through. Your support totally helps and I'll make sure to point it out

I've bought tons of your fantastic releases, but still boycott Evanescence - Going Under to date, because that song just begs for charted keys, so please release an RB3 version.

Keep in mind that Going Under was released through a large label (Wind-Up) and in cases like that it's pretty much never the author's decision to do an RB3 or 2x Bass Pedal version. You could try contacting the band or label with that kind of request.

Thank you for your support Pankrazzo! We totally agree about Going Under being perfect for keys and backing vocals. We have asked the label if they want an RB3 version but have not yet heard back I'll keep on 'em though!

Soilwork is a Swedish melodic death metal band from Helsingborg.
Their sound is a fusion of the power-groove riffs of late 1970s, early 1980s British, and European metal. Stabbing the Drama was released in early March 2005 and entered the Swedish charts at number 14. Now you can crush with Soilwork too!
