Totally agree! "Ode to a Centipede" is the title of the song to which you are referring and it is quite amazing.

You can estimate the answer to this kind of question by going to http://www.rockband.com/leaderboards and doing a song-specific search for PS3/Top Players/Song Performance Rank/Band and choosing the song you want to look up. It won't show you all sales, of course, but it will give you an idea of how many people have played the song.
