I was referring to RBN 2.0...

So it looks like I'll have to buy, at the least, Rock Band 3, a guitar, keyboard, and drums, and a Xbox 360.

Not going to bother rebuying all the other games when all I'm missing is the network.

RBN2.0 songs are ported over to PS3, five per week. They're generally chosen by how well they sell but requests in here play a part as well.

If you were playing on Wii I'd say switch, but I don't think that jumping from PS3 to Xbox at this time would be a good investment.

Just looking at your initial request post, there's one Freezepop song, 3 MC Frontalot songs, and lets say 2 Hyro da Hero songs plus Shoot the Zombies... So that's 7 songs.

Round numbers, a 360 with a decent hard drive might cost you 250 bucks, a drum kit around 100 bucks at this point, and keyboard and guitar I'll round to 50 bucks each (keyboard you can find for a bit less, but the guitars seem to be a bit more). So you're up to around $450, which is over $60 per song on your wishlist, and that doesn't even take the cost of the songs themselves into consideration... It's your money, but I'd say it's not worth it.

Meanwhile, the PS3 has access to 6 of the 7 Freezepop songs on the platform (some disc, some official DLC, one RBN2 song that got ported over) and 2 of the MC Frontalot songs (the ones released as $1 official DLC) so that isn't a bad collection.

Not to mention the advantages the PS3 has in some non-Rock Band aspects. Its really not worth the switch for a few songs.

    ???

I'd understand if it was a page or two later, but it's all of two posts later.
