Nah. A month is the minimum an Xbox song must wait before it goes to PS3. From my calculations, the brentalfloss track just became eligible for PS3 porting a week ago.

Even then, unless the song is RBN1 format (Rock Band 2 era stuff), it's never too late for a track to port over.

So they could actually port over a track that was released a year and a half ago (provided it was on 2.0?)

    My current RBN wish list:

Death in the Garden - Dance for the Dying
In the Wake of Evolution - Kaipa
For the Kids of the Multiculture - Sonic Boom Six
    Apple Martini - Shelita Vaughns

Too soon to get, but not too soon to request!
Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On - Jerry Naylor

(Plus two other songs which turned out to be from RBN 1.0, so I'll get those if I ever buy an Xbox 360)

Yep, everything released after Blue (Da Ba Dee) is eligible. Generally speaking, the older a song gets the lower the chances of it being ported, but the odds never become zero.

This is what I'm referring to. How far have they ever gone back to publish a song?

"Dodgin Bullets" looks like it waited a while: Apr. 28, 2011-June 12, 2012

About a year from what I can tell. However, that isn't very often now is it? When songs I want go past a couple months, it's safe to say that I won't get them. But I know now that they sometimes go pretty far back in the catalog. Good to know.

I'm not sure where that impression has come from. As already mentioned, Halcyon Way got three songs ported after a long wait but the previous week saw a song from 4-5 months ago (Ultra Vomit - Je Collectionne des Canards) and one from almost a year ago (Before Nine - I). The week before that had a song from about 9 months ago (Imperative Reaction - Surface) and one from 10 months ago (Septicflesh - Anubis).
