Yes! We finally got all the Amberian Dawn songs, save for the RBN1 songs we never got. That's a whole three songs off of my top ten list! You guys rock! I'm going to have to make a new top ten:

Hmmm...and I consider this to be one of the best weeks of RBN DLC we've ever had. Love the Amberian Dawn tracks, and Jerry Naylor is fun too. I haven't even listened to The Cold Goodnight, but I'll buy it anyway. If you don't like it, request songs that you do like. Personally, I'm very pleased with not only the week, but also the fact that we can voice our opinions on the songs that we want to see get ported over. Harmonix has done an incredible job listening to the community.

Also, I feel I should voice my opinion on the Yogurt With Sprinkles arguing here. Are the Xbox users allowed to come in here and voice their opinions on what songs get ported over? Sure. As far as I know, it isn't against the rules or anything. However, I feel that it goes against the spirit of what this thread is all about. In this thread, we have some of the most passionate PS3 RBN players requesteing songs week after week in an effort to get them ported over. Many of us have been requesting the same songs for months, just hoping that someday, our favorite songs will get picked up. We do only get five songs a week, and it's frustrating to see our favorite tracks get ignored week after week, month after month, but we understand the process, and keep requesting in hopes that some day, our requests will produce that song or songs we've waited so long for. Now for dragoninforcer and his friends, who play on Xbox, to come into this thread and make a push for his song to get released on PS3 is, quite frankly, a little bit insulting. You guys can buy that song right now if you want it. The thing is, and I don't mean to sound rude, but I don't want it. It doesn't sound very interesting, and looks incredibly boring to play. Now granted, they've released worse ("Toast (Live)" comes to mind), but still... The only reason you guys care about the song at all, is because it's dragoniforcer's song, and you all want to support him. That's fine. Nobody outside of these forums even knows who he is, and so, nobody outside of these forums would honestly choose that song over all of the great material that has yet to be released on PS3. As I said, you guys can spam this thread about it all you want, but I sincerely hope your requests go completely ignored, and that extra slot is given to someone that's been waiting for a long time for their favorite song.

the other one was PS3

as for boring, some players want tracks that aren't hard on every instrument. and keys seem pretty damn fun on it.

as for the you only get 5 songs a week. xbox users have a chance of getting less songs a week (which already happened a few times) and you still get 5 then. it works both ways

Im guessing there are 3(or more) things that factor into what songs get ported over.

I've been doing that for months and the one song I keep requesting, which others have also requested (Nevermore - The Obsidian Conspiracy), has gotten ignored every time. I'm starting to think that posting here is a complete and utter waste of time. The devs just put out whatever they feel like. Just like last week when we got THREE Strikken songs that NOBODY asked for (I looked)

There's basically a discography of Jonathan Coulton, Free Spirit and other boring ****ty songs.

There were more Jonathan Coulton songs in the first few months of RBN than the past year.

And I don't see what's wrong with Xbox players recommending songs they've actually played.

Well the issue with number 2, at least in my song's case is that the one song they DID port to the PS3 from Nevermore is the WORST song on that album, by far (Nevermore - Without Morals). I've considered buying it just to encourage the other song to get ported, but I hate that song so much and I dont want to waste money.

So they ported the song that most reviews slagged and most people disliked off their latest album instead of the title track that kicks ass, and they arent going to port the good one because their poor pick (possibly) didn't sell well? Weak.

Oh well. No sales to me this week. Nobody in my group that can sing anything from Amberian dawn. No operatic female vocalists here. Those who wanted it: enjoy, looks like you'll get more and more of the same. Congratulations.
